When Alexis was 17 months old she went blind. She was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. She had one mass in her brain that caused her to go blind and one mass in her abdomen. Since 17 months old she's had many many transplants and tests done to help her get better. She's been going through Kemo. Poor thing lost all of her hair. Kassie and Clay are her parents. They almost lost her multiple times. Her lungs have collapsed two times during transplants. This girl is such a little trooper. Going through everything she's gone through at 2 years old. She is now 3.5 years old and has gone through more than anyone else has gone through at her age. Her parents are waiting on the tests to see if she is finally cancer free. To this day though she is still blind. Her wish was to see mickey mouse and she won a trip to disney world so in july they we're able to bring her to see her. Alexis has to go to bangor every 3 months to have tests done to see if her cancer has come back. She hasn't had cancer since march of 08 BUT she is NOT in remission yet. They won't have her test results until the 2nd of october to let them know if she is still cancer free. If she isn't she has to go through more kemo and lose her hair again and have more transplants done. above are some pics of this beautiful little trooper.
